About Us

REAL FOOD opened its doors at the Molito Lifestyle Center in Ayala Alabang in April of 2016, and the delightful store has become the go-to grocery for health-conscious Southerners ever since.

Less than three years later – in January 2019 – REAL FOOD continued to spread its love for everything green and healthy by opening a second store in BGC, at the ICON showroom.

Walking into any of our stores, one is greeted by a large farm table overflowing with basketfuls of local produce. It’s a riot of colors – from the sunshine yellow of the seedless lemons from Surigao, to the striped purple eggplants from Pangasinan, to the vibrant green of coconuts grown in Batangas.

 

Our Partners

Farmers and local suppliers deliver to the store everyday and bring "exotic" delights such as wild mini cucumbers, tart native raspberries from Mt. Banahaw, foraged gooseberries, purple and "batik" corn, cherry tomatoes the size of aratiles, fresh honey comb from Bukidnon and more.

The store has a chic farmhouse feel and one can see how the decor has been thoughtfully selected. Framed photographs of our partner farms line the walls, a large vegetable mural reminds you to “keep it real”, and ceiling lights hang from old doors laden with cascading greens – this definitely isn’t your ordinary grocery store.

True to the owners’ philosophy of “Eat Good, Feel Good”, REAL FOOD gives its customers a carefully curated selection of healthy edibles:

Organic fruits and vegetables grown chemical-free; chickens raised free-range without antibiotics or hormones; grass-fed pork and beef; hormone-free dairy products; prepared foods and snacks made without preservatives, colorings or refined sugar; vegan & gluten-free options; whole grain, long-fermented breads; powdered superfood supplements to add to your fresh juices or smoothies; refined sugar-free sweets and chocolates; wine made from organic grapes; fresh juices, teas, kombucha and other healthy beverages. There’s more than meets the eye here, too, as REAL FOOD strongly believes in supporting the local agricultural industry. Majority of the merchandise we carry is grown and sourced locally-mostly from farmers, cooperatives, and social enterprises.
